Traffic Court

Well, today I was a lucky girl! I spent 3 hours of my morning sitting in the Horry County Traffic Court with all of my other traffic-law-offending compadres. I’d like to thank Officer Davis for being such a great trooper. Initially, he gave me a $150/No Points ticket. At court, he went ahead and recommended a $75/No Points ticket. Made the whole tedious wait worthwhile.

I really expected traffic court to be a larger cross-section of the world, but it looks like only slackers (myself included) end up there. I was the only work-attired 20-something there. All of the other girls my age were wearing sweatpants. Maybe it’s just the large service industry here; everyone gets ready for work in the afternoons, not at 7 am like me.
